Solid Rock was created by singer/songwriter Shane Howard after a moving experience at Uluru. It is one of those Aussie songs that will be passed down. It depicts the subject of aboriginal rights in Australia. It is an Australian story and this book with its unique colourful illustrations tells it beautifully. Children from such communities as Mufitjulu, kaltukatjara and Impana have done this story justice! A must read for every Australian. Solid Rock the song and the storytelling of the song will live on in hearts for generations to come.
