Nikolas and Company – The Merman and the Moon Forgotten – GIVEAWAY!

Aero Studios

Kevin McGill’s fantasy adventure, Nikolas and Company: The Merman and the Moon Forgotten is the 1st in a 4 part series.

Nikolas lives in a future where nannydrones are normal, super viruses are prevalent and technology is at an all time high.  This is all very normal when you are used to it, but hearing voices is not at all normal, and neither is his Grandfather now that we are on the subject. He is an odd man who travels to exotic places, but there is much more to him than a little eccentricity.  Little does Nikolas know that he carries with him a gift (of sorts) for his fate is written. He is the steward of the city of Huron.  Life turns upside down very quickly when his Grandfather comes to collect him for he must become a hero in a land which is a mystery to him and a world which one could only imagine. A place with mythical beings, merman and terrible dangers.

Kevin McGill is blessed with an amazing imagination and thankfully for us he has captured some of it between pages of a book.

‘Nikolas and Company: The Merman and the Moon Forgotten’ allows you to catch glimpses of the ‘other’ worlds and times before they come together allowing the reader insight and understanding. Make sure you are concentrating!

If you are a fan of fantasy realms and the ordinary hero this book is for you.

An Uncle Sunny special for the ice cream cart is NOT something to get your hopes up on a hot summer’s day in forest. In fact it is something to avoid at all costs.

Jake and Jeremy weren’t so lucky so they decided to start an ice-cream cart of their own. Unfortunately Uncle Sunny sees this as a declaration of war! Jake, Hoppy, Jeremy and their classmates must come up with a battle plan to save children from the Uncle Sunny special. This is war!

The Ice-cream war is a delectable treat for school aged children. Characters are easy to relate to and the humour is giggle and snort worthy.

The reader will become lost in the pages eager to find out which battle will be won. From killer ponies to mouse poo tapped ice-cream. Edwina Howard fails to disappoint. If I had to rate this book out of 10 I would surely rate it 110!
